CleMINTine Syrup
Ingredients
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 6 mint leaves
- juice of 1/2 clementine
Directions
Combine the water and sugars in a small sauce pan over medium high heat. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved for about 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to boil the sugar (will come out thick) or to stir while simmering or the sugar (sugar will get granulated after cooling). Turn off the heat and add the mint and clementine. Pour this tangy syrup over pancakes or french toast.
